Mata Murti ka Mela is celebrated at Badrinath Dham for one day. It is very important fair festival at Badrinath, Chamoli. On this fair, many people come from Chamoli, Rudraprayag , Uttarkashi and other places of Uttarakhand state as well as in India. Devotees and other worshiped to Mata Murti in this fair festival.
According to Hindusim mythology or Purana, The holy River Ganges descended on this day from heaven to the Earth.

Badrinath Dham door is not opened today

Chardham Yatra 2020, it was set 30th April 2020 opening date of door Badrinath Dham But as few days before new date was changed due to Corona Viruse disease and lockdown situations in the state where nobody is allowed to geathering.

It is first time when Badrinath Dham Kapat is not opened at right time for it the priests of Lord Narayan Temple, Badrinath  asked forgiveness and offered prayers morning at Badrinath Dham.

Badrinath Dham door will be opened on 15th May 2020 due to Noval Corona Viruse.
While yesterday morning at 6.10 am, Kedarnath temple door opened.

Lockdown will be continued till 3rd may as per PM Modi command in the Chamoli District of Uttarakhand and every where in India.

Baba Kedarnath Doli Yatra During Lockdown

Baba Kedarnath Doli depart from onkeswar Temple and worship has been started on Sunday at 3:30 AM after all related of worship and other things is done and 5:40 journey started.
Devotees and other viewed it from their house' ruff and welcome by the flowers. Baba Kedarnath Doli reached to Guptkashi at 6:30 AM. Doli Aarti was performed at entrance gate of Visvnath Temple and after it Doli reached to Gorikund at 8:00 AM via Narayanankoti, Bdasu,Phata, Rampur, Sitapur and Sonipur. According to tradition, Baba Kedarnath Doli reached to Kedarnath Dham one day before.

No Night Stay of Baba Doli at Phata

Snowfalling over the Mountains of Uttarakhand, Badrinath , Hemkund Sahib etc

As the weather of plane areas of Uttarakhand remain same and in few area, it rains very little. But in hill area of Uttarakhand, it seemed snowfall, heavy wind blowing with hillstons. There was heavy snowfall in Badrinath, Hemkun, Valley of flowers, Ghanghariya and other places of Chamoli District of Uttarakhand.

Two weeks before it was seemed snowfall on hills of Uttarakhand. It is very strange that summer season already started and April Month is going to end but snowfall still falling.

Chardham Yatra is going to start  in this week. About 6 to 7 feet high snow freeze on the way of Badrinath Dham.

No change in Dates opening of Badrinath and Kedarnath, Kapat open on Previously date

Before two three days ago dicsucion was going on to change the dates of Kedarnath Dham but no it is decided, there will no change in door opening of Lord Shiv Temple Kedarnath. Badrinath Dham date has changed but yesterday , it is demanded by Dimri Religious Central Panchayat that there should not change the dates of Badrinath Dham too.
All dates of Char Dham Yatra will be resumed on periviusly set time.
Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath Temple door will be same as periviusly decided where Yamunotri and Gangotri on 26th April, Kedarnath 29th April and Badrinath 30th April.

Due to Corona Viruse disease speards in India all cities, towns and villages are lockdown. Reason no change in Kedarnath Dham door opening in Lockdown

There are few reasons to no change in the Kedarnath Dham door opening while everywhere lockdown in the state till 3rd May 2020 as per the command given by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in Corona Viruse pandemic.
First reason is that if any changes in Kedarnath Dham door opening so it will be effected the opening dates in Second Kedar Lord Madmaheshwar and Third Kedar Lord Tungnath, where both temples date are set already that are 11 May and 20 May 2020.
Second reason is that Door will be opened on the day of Mahashivratri festival according to Hindu religious beliefs.

So finally, Lord Kedarnath Doli will be depart on 26th April 2020 from Omkareshwar.

Kedarnath and Badrinath Date of Door Opening changed

Due to Corona Viruse, everywhere in India is lockdown and as the date of reopening of Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham which is a part of chardham Yatra may be changed as per the meeting taken by Tehri Maharaj Manuzendra, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivand Singh Rawat and  tourists Minister Satpal Maharaj and they have taken decision to change in dates of Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath due to lockdown situation in Uttarakhand.

New date of Badrinath opening is 15 May at 4:30 AM and the date of Kedarnath Dham opening will be set tommorow on 21th April.

As we know that previously discussed dates was 29th and 30th April was set for Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham.

1Coror 25 Lakhs Chardham Yatra booking cancelled got by Garwal Mandal Vikash Nigam due to Noval Corona Viruse disease spreading in the world as India.

GMVN ( Garwal Mandal Vikash Nigam ) has requested not to cancel their registration they can use it upcoming time. Few days are remain to open Chardham Temple door. Yamnotri and Gangotri door will reopen on 26th April 2020, Kedarnath Dham door will reopen on 29th April 2020 and Badrinath Dham door will reopen on 30th April 2020.

Chardham Yatra will resume as the door will reopen on their time but buses, trains and air travel are lockdown till 3rd May 2020 due to Noval Corona viruse pandemic.

Rawal of Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham announced to start online Pooja after door opening of Badrinath and Kedarnath but the shrine priests had refused for online Worship. They said if the Rawal could not reach in this case shrine priests and other shrine Athorty could be do it according to same procedure which is flowed by the Rawal.

Yamuna Devi Doli will be replacement morning 8 o' clock. Karteswara Unial Maharaj Sachiv of Yamunotri Dham said that the door will remain open on time of Mahurata on occasion of Akshya Tritya on 26th April and Doli of Goddess Devi Yamuna will be reach till 11 AM and door of Yamunotri Dham will be open 12:41 PM .

White sheet of snow at Kedarnath Dham Uttarakhand

How to reach Valley of Flowers

There is few way to reach Valley of Flowers from Dehradun, Rishikesh, Delhi and Haridwar.
It is simple to say that first of all you have to come last bus stand Gobindghat is in Chamoli District of Uttarakhand.

From Rishikesh to Gobindghat is just 275 Km and this bus stand lie between Badrinath and Jhosimath. The entery point Ghanghariya for the valley of flowers just 13 km far from the Gobindghat bus stand.
Tourist can see the 3 km long and 500 meters wide valley of flowers with varieties of blooming Flowers.

By Train can be reached till Rishikesh Railways station and it is last railway station of Uttarakhand after it has to go by road or air way.
