According to Hindusim mythology, Tungnath Temple established by Arjun who was son of Pandav in Mahabharata.
After the large massacre in Mahabharata, Lord Shiva disgusted then Lord Shiva Temple was built to please him.

No Night Stay of Baba Doli at Phata

It is first time when the baba Kedarnath Dham Doli will reached without staying night in Phata from the Ukhimath and bring it till Gorikund via transport.

Baba Kedarnath Doli yatra will start on 26th April from Ukhimath and will be reached Kedarnath Dham without staying in night on 27th April and remain time will rest at Kedarnath Dham still 29th April. Kedarnath Dham door will be opened at it's fixed time that is 29th April at 6:10 AM in the morning.

What was old schedule changed due to Covid 19 spread in India and situation of Lockdown in the country?

First Baba Doli yatra starts  from onkeswar Temple , Ukhimath via Guptkashi and stay at Phata for night. From Phata reach to Sitapur, Rampur and Soniprayag and for night stay reach to Gorikund then finnaly next day reach to Kedarnath Dham.

Baba Kedarnath Doli will be reached Gorikund Directly

It is first when Baba Kedarnath Doli will be reached Gorikund directly from the Onkareshwar and Ukhimath Temple. there will no sounds of Sena Band and religious programs and no gathering of devotees.

It is first in history, Baba Kedarnath situated in foothills of Meru Sumeru montain, no devotees will be seen due to lockdown situation in entire country because of Corona Viruse spearding.

Snowfalling over the Mountains of Uttarakhand, Badrinath , Hemkund Sahib etc

As the weather of plane areas of Uttarakhand remain same and in few area, it rains very little. But in hill area of Uttarakhand, it seemed snowfall, heavy wind blowing with hillstons. There was heavy snowfall in Badrinath, Hemkun, Valley of flowers, Ghanghariya and other places of Chamoli District of Uttarakhand.

Two weeks before it was seemed snowfall on hills of Uttarakhand. It is very strange that summer season already started and April Month is going to end but snowfall still falling.

Chardham Yatra is going to start  in this week. About 6 to 7 feet high snow freeze on the way of Badrinath Dham.

No change in Dates opening of Badrinath and Kedarnath, Kapat open on Previously date

Before two three days ago dicsucion was going on to change the dates of Kedarnath Dham but no it is decided, there will no change in door opening of Lord Shiv Temple Kedarnath. Badrinath Dham date has changed but yesterday , it is demanded by Dimri Religious Central Panchayat that there should not change the dates of Badrinath Dham too.
All dates of Char Dham Yatra will be resumed on periviusly set time.
Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath Temple door will be same as periviusly decided where Yamunotri and Gangotri on 26th April, Kedarnath 29th April and Badrinath 30th April.

Due to Corona Viruse disease speards in India all cities, towns and villages are lockdown. In Uttarakhand, Chardham Yatra is one of the holy yatra where many devotees and tourists come but it is first time when there will no more people seem due to lockdown in Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag and Chamoli District of Uttarakhand till 3rd May date of lockdown recommend by PM Modi.

Reason no change in Kedarnath Dham door opening in Lockdown

There are few reasons to no change in the Kedarnath Dham door opening while everywhere lockdown in the state till 3rd May 2020 as per the command given by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in Corona Viruse pandemic.
First reason is that if any changes in Kedarnath Dham door opening so it will be effected the opening dates in Second Kedar Lord Madmaheshwar and Third Kedar Lord Tungnath, where both temples date are set already that are 11 May and 20 May 2020.
Second reason is that Door will be opened on the day of Mahashivratri festival according to Hindu religious beliefs.

So finally, Lord Kedarnath Doli will be depart on 26th April 2020 from Omkareshwar.

Kedarnath Door Opening, No change in Date during Lockdown

No change in the Lord Kedarnath Dham door opening dates in lockdown situations due to Noval Corona Viruse disease spearding in the World. There are much effect of Covid 19 in Rudraprayag district where is the Lord Shiva Kedarnath Dham is Ek Dham out of Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand.

Kedarnath Dham door will be open at the same date and time that is on 29th April 2020 at 6:10 AM. This decision was taken in presence of Senior pilgrims, Acharyas and Vedpathis along with prominent people of Panchagai Samiti at Panchkedar Gaddisthal Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath in meeting with Bheema Shankar Linga, Rawal of Kedarnath Dham. Bheema Shankar also said Kedarnath Dham door will be open at the same time and no change in Lord Shiva Kedarnath Temple opening.

As everyone know that this is time to stay home and be safe during Lockdown in Uttarakhand due to Covid 19. We hope that soon this situation will be end and all things resume soon.
