Kedarnath Door Opening, No change in Date during Lockdown

No change in the Lord Kedarnath Dham door opening dates in lockdown situations due to Noval Corona Viruse disease spearding in the World. There are much effect of Covid 19 in Rudraprayag district where is the Lord Shiva Kedarnath Dham is Ek Dham out of Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand.

Kedarnath Dham door will be open at the same date and time that is on 29th April 2020 at 6:10 AM. This decision was taken in presence of Senior pilgrims, Acharyas and Vedpathis along with prominent people of Panchagai Samiti at Panchkedar Gaddisthal Omkareshwar Temple Ukhimath in meeting with Bheema Shankar Linga, Rawal of Kedarnath Dham. Bheema Shankar also said Kedarnath Dham door will be open at the same time and no change in Lord Shiva Kedarnath Temple opening.

As everyone know that this is time to stay home and be safe during Lockdown in Uttarakhand due to Covid 19. We hope that soon this situation will be end and all things resume soon.

Yamunotri and Gangotri Dham Door Opening while lockdown

Chardham Yatra first starts with Yamunotri Dham and Gangotri Dham in few days that is 26th April 2020. As we know that Noval Corona Viruse disease, for this reason entire country is under the lockdown situation till 3rd May 2020.
Before starting Char Dham Yatra all preparation must be start but during lockdown situation due to Corona Viruse spread.
No shops are still closed. Priests are stucked nearest of Barkot and Uttarkashi due to lockdown, even they did not get permission to go Kharsali and Mukhba villages.

Where Government has taken decision changed the dates of door opening of Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham.

Kedarnath and Badrinath Date of Door Opening changed

Due to Corona Viruse, everywhere in India is lockdown and as the date of reopening of Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham which is a part of chardham Yatra may be changed as per the meeting taken by Tehri Maharaj Manuzendra, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivand Singh Rawat and  tourists Minister Satpal Maharaj and they have taken decision to change in dates of Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath due to lockdown situation in Uttarakhand.

New date of Badrinath opening is 15 May at 4:30 AM and the date of Kedarnath Dham opening will be set tommorow on 21th April.

As we know that previously discussed dates was 29th and 30th April was set for Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham.

Reaction on Chardham Yatra Booking Cancelled Due to Corona

1Coror 25 Lakhs Chardham Yatra booking cancelled got by Garwal Mandal Vikash Nigam due to Noval Corona Viruse disease spreading in the world as India.

GMVN ( Garwal Mandal Vikash Nigam ) has requested not to cancel their registration they can use it upcoming time. Few days are remain to open Chardham Temple door. Yamnotri and Gangotri door will reopen on 26th April 2020, Kedarnath Dham door will reopen on 29th April 2020 and Badrinath Dham door will reopen on 30th April 2020.

Chardham Yatra will resume as the door will reopen on their time but buses, trains and air travel are lockdown till 3rd May 2020 due to Noval Corona viruse pandemic.

Online Worship of Badrinath and Kedarnath, Refused by the Shrine priest

Rawal of Badrinath Dham and Kedarnath Dham announced to start online Pooja after door opening of Badrinath and Kedarnath but the shrine priests had refused for online Worship. They said if the Rawal could not reach in this case shrine priests and other shrine Athorty could be do it according to same procedure which is flowed by the Rawal.

Rawal of both Dham if don't come due to Corona pandemic , in this situation only one way worship done by the Tirith Purohit.

To bring Maa Yamnotri Doli Date and Time, Door Opening Yamunotri

Yamuna Devi Doli will be replacement morning 8 o' clock. Karteswara Unial Maharaj Sachiv of Yamunotri Dham said that the door will remain open on time of Mahurata on occasion of Akshya Tritya on 26th April and Doli of Goddess Devi Yamuna will be reach till 11 AM and door of Yamunotri Dham will be open 12:41 PM .

Yamnotri Dham is first Dham in Chota Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand but this year due to Corona Viruse disease only limited person visit to Yamnotri Dham.

Corona Effect on Chardham Yatra 2020

As we know that Novel  Corona Viruse disease is spearding all over the world and India too. At Chardham Yatra, the effect of Corona pandemic which stop the booking and cancelled the char Dham Yatra when the prime minister of India address to Nation to lockdown till 14 the April 2020 and again PM Modi addressed to the Nation at 10 AM on 14th April to extend the lockdown till 3rd May where the Kapat or the door of Chardham temples will be reopen 26th April ( Yamunotri and Gangotri ) , 29th April Kedarnath and 30th April Badrinath Dham.
Many devotees and tourists has been booked their chardham yatra in advanced but the according to current situation, they are cancelling their booking for Chardham Yatra.
