Valley of Flowers is in lap of Himalayan in Uttarakhand. Actually, the Valley of Flowers is a destination of Char Dham Yatra because it is located in North Chamoli district of Uttarakhand where Badrinath is too. Many people visits to Shree Badrinath Dham or do Chardham Tour and also come to Valley of Flowers but if you really would like to see the beauty of bloosm of variety of flora and flowers here then you have to visit July to September. 

Till November to May months, There is a snow sheet around can be seen and Beautiful colorful flowers bloom other months. It is most attraction site of Uttarakhand as well as National Park. There are more than 500 unlike flowering species in this valley.

Valley of Flowers is the name of very popular World Heritage Site in North Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. It is most attraction site of Uttarakhand and here is variety of flowers with various colors, shades and delicate scent. Brahmakamal blooms in September month.  Every year many people visit to this site with excitement. July, August and September months are very good to come at this place. Tourists can be reached Valley of Flowers by bus but there is last bus stand, Govindghat just 275 km from Chamoli and the distance between Govindghat to Joshimath is 19 km. There are verity of plants like Anemones, germanium, Marsh, Marigold, Pribhula, Potentila, Jium, asterisks, Lilium, Himalayan blue poppy, aconite, Delfiniam, Ranunkuls, Koridalis, Indula, Susuria, Kmpanula, Pedikyulris, Morina, Impetins, Bistorta, Ligularia, Anaflis, Saksifaga, Lobilia, Thermopsis, Trollius, Aculegia, Codonopsis, Dactylorhism, Cypripedium, Strawberry etc.

Bandar Poonch or The monkey tail is a mountain peak (Parvat Chooti) in Uttarkhand state of India.  The origin of the holy River Yamuna lies at the western of Yamunotri Glacier of Bandar PoonchThis is very important part of Chardham Yatra when people come to visit the holy places in Uttarakhand.
Barkot is a Nagar Panchayat in Uttarkashi and it is located 1220 meter high from Uttarkashi district and this place is just 50 km far from Yamunotri. Tourists enjoy the surrounding natural view from Bandar Poonch. This is a part of attraction of devotees and tourists and force to stop for some time to take peaceful and natural surroundings.  
According to Hindu mythology, The Mighty Hindu God Hanuman (monkey god) reaches to this peak to extinguish his tail (Poonch). By this time it is kown as Bandar Poonch Parvat.

Snow Fall Again in Badrinath and other highest peak cover with ice

At the last day of February 29th 2020 again weather has been changed with heavy snow fall on Badrinath, Hemkund Shahib, Nandaghunghati, Gaurasan Bugyal and other highest peaks of Uttarakhand. In some places black cloud came with rain on that day with cool air. Below of Badrinath area did not effective with snow but have to face fast air blowing with little rain in some palaces. It is only 2 months are remaining to reopening of Shri Badrinath or Badri Narayan Temple door and begin to Char Dham Yatra 2020. It may be last snow of winter ending season on Badrinath Dham but in future after rainy season again snow falling will be start.
