Valley of Flowers is the name of very popular World Heritage
Site in North Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. It is most attraction site of
Uttarakhand and here is variety of flowers with various colors, shades and delicate
scent. Brahmakamal blooms in September month.
Every year many people visit to this site with excitement. July, August
and September months are very good to come at this place. Tourists can be
reached Valley of Flowers by bus but there is last bus stand, Govindghat just
275 km from Chamoli and the distance between Govindghat to Joshimath is 19 km.
There are verity of plants like Anemones, germanium, Marsh, Marigold, Pribhula,
Potentila, Jium, asterisks, Lilium, Himalayan blue poppy, aconite, Delfiniam,
Ranunkuls, Koridalis, Indula, Susuria, Kmpanula, Pedikyulris, Morina, Impetins,
Bistorta, Ligularia, Anaflis, Saksifaga, Lobilia, Thermopsis, Trollius,
Aculegia, Codonopsis, Dactylorhism, Cypripedium, Strawberry etc.
